The clash of the human finite mind and God’s infinite mind. For God so loved the world… He did not make us with an inborn love for God, but rather one who has the capacity to love others and to love God the Creator.

  1. Love demands choice. If not, it is not love. God wants us to respond to His invitation to love Him back.
  2. God gives everyone a choice to believe and accept Jesus as a personal savior. “…choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve.” Joshua 24:15
  3. “The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9
  4. We know that God is just, good and merciful ALL the time. Even though we don’t understand the ‘hows’ and the ‘whys’ of what happens in life, God does. And that should be good with us.

“I am God and not man” Hosea 11:9.

Salvation is a matter of man humbling himself (herself) and believing in Jesus because He paid the ultimate price by dying a gruesome death so that our sins would be forgiven. That sounds like a loving God to me!

Each day, God’s puts us with people or in situations where we have a choice to choose God or self. Who will you choose today?
