Douglas Beimler, President

Doug has been a sales and management professional for over twenty-nine years. As Eastern Region Director for Harvard Business School Publishing’s Corporate Learning Group, Doug oversees the Eastern US Sales and Marketing team and partners with HBP colleagues to design and deliver exceptional Leadership Development services to some of the world’s most distinguished brands and exceptional Fortune 500 companies. 

Melyssa Beimler, Secretary/Treasurer

Recently joining the dedicated team at The League School of Greater Boston, Melyssa serves as head teacher in a classroom with Middle School aged students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Aspergers. The League School exists with a singular focus to help students affected with ASD to thrive and succeed to their maximum potential. Prior to this position Melyssa had been serving the students, families and community of the Foxborough Public School system for eight years working with students from age three to age fifteen. Having earned her Masters of Education from Lesley University, Melyssa is enthusiastic about working with students of all ages, abilities and attitudes.

Tammy Lopez, Vice President

Tammy has worked at Perimeter Church in Johns Creek, GA for 19 years. For the first 16 years of her ministry there, she was the Director of Camp All-American, one of the largest Day Camps in the country. She currently is serving has Next Gen Integration and Education Director, working to establish mentoring relationships with members and local public elementary schools through KidsHopeUSA, a nonprofit that seeks to resource the local church to serve its local elementary school by providing mentors. Tammy has used Anchorsaway both to train college-aged camp counselors and high school girls and seeks to promote the program in the Atlanta area. 

Dr. A. Charles Ware

Dr. Ware is president of Crossroads Bible College, a biblically conservative, evangelical, accredited post-secondary institution dedicated to training Christian leaders to reach a multiethnic urban world for Christ. He has been president since 1991.

Dr. Ware serves on the boards of Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE), the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism (ABWE), AnchorsAway, and on the advisory board for the Biblical Counseling Coalition (BCC). Dr. Ware speaks at churches, Christian schools, colleges, seminaries, mission conferences, camps, prisons, and civic functions in the United States and abroad.

Heather Wieber, Northwest Director

Heather is the Anchorsaway Northwest Director.  She has been a spokesperson and teacher of the Anchorsaway curriculum for the last 5 years.  Heather is now training teachers on how to teach the curriculum.  Her heart is all about inspiring people to share the love of Christ.  She is passionate about teaching young people not just “what” to believe but “why” it is true.  First Peter 3:15 is what she is all about.  Heather is also a substitute public school teacher, and enjoys hiking, camping and fishing.  Heather lives in LaPine, Oregon, with her 2 children and her husband, Kent.

Frankie Dame, Lecturer & Advisor

Frankie Dame earned his high school diploma at age 15 and pursued his B.S. in political science.  In 2016, He graduated from Michigan State University College of Law, graduating summa cum laude.

He is currently the Legal Counsel for the Michigan House of Representatives Majority and resides in Michigan with his wife, Kelsey Dame, a labor and employment and litigation attorney.  Frankie has served Anchorsaway as a lecturer and advisor.
