There is always an element of faith that it takes to believe there is a God. There is never enough proof to satisfy the hardened heart. The skeptic will say, “If only God would show Himself, he would believe. He has! God has made His presence known in every conceivable way. From the beauty of a sunrise to the findings of nanotechnology studies in cell complexity.

The Bible says The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands. Have you ever seen the amazing pictures sent to us from the Hubble telescope? Science proves that there has to be an intelligent being behind creation. God proves through science that there has to be an intelligent being behind creation. Consider the tilt of the earth, a perfect 24 degrees to give us our seasons. The placement of the earth is just the right distance from the sun, so we would not burn up or freeze to death. The moon creates tides that clean the oceans and sustains life.

Consider the human body, with 37 trillion cells. Each one of them contains proteins. Proteins make the cell work, and without proteins there would be no humans. Scientists have calculated what the odds would be for proteins to form randomly without God. The number for impossibility is 1 in 1050. The odds are 1 in 10243. Simply put, from a scientific perspective, humans and the entire animal kingdom could not exist without God. Proving again that nothing can come from random chance.

The Bible tells us and history confirms that the greatest proof of there being a God is in the death and resurrection of Christ. Jesus Christ died and rose again to pay the penalty of all our sin that proved that Jesus is God. Whether a believer in God or not, God extends an invitation to believe and receive God’s invitation for forgiveness to all those He created. If you are truly seeking, you will find!

The greatest way all Christians can prove the existence of God is found in the transformation of our own lives. In spite of all the scientific facts to support the existence of God, what really matters is the way we live out our lives. Most people who stay away from God do so because of the duplicity of Christians. We need to be that person so when others see that we are different from other people by the way we love and engage in their lives in a consistent basis, they will begin to see Jesus at work. To love others well, to suffer and rejoice with our friends, to be able to speak in a way about the reason for the hope that we have in Jesus will impact them deeply.

“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:36-39)

“Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth” (1 Corinthians 13:4-7).
